CHUCK OCTAGON – Jeff Van Dreason What do you think the value of professional sports in the Boston community is?
Oh, it’s — ohhhh. (laughs). Ugh. It’s valued very highly. Everyone loves sports in Boston. Ugh. I mean — CHUCK OCTAGON Do you? INTERVIEW 1 No.
[Charlie on the MTA begins to play]
CHUCK OCTAGON (laughs) INTERVIEW 1
Anytime there’s a game, like, because I take the train a lot, anytime there’s a Red Sox game, or like a hockey game, like …I know, because everyone looks exactly the same. (pause). Yeah. CHUCK OCTAGON (laughs) And they’re all acting the same too — INTERVIEW 1 Yes. Very drunk. CHUCK OCTAGON Yeah (laughs). INTERVIEW 1 Yes.
INTERVIEW I’m a person who likes to be with other people, but definitely likes my alone time. When I’m with other people, I like to be lively, and fun, and active, and engaged. I like to have a lot of fun, but I like to accomplish things.
And why I’m here on earth? Hm… I think my siblings needed a baby of the family.
Previously, in Greater Boston:
FAKE NICA I’m Dimitri’s big sister, Nica! Together, we solve great mysteries.
ISABELLE She’s been hit by that stuff. The beans. And they’re hot.
MALLORY I don’t want to talk about it.
ADA WEST Dear Daddy, Mommy said that you and she aren’t married anymore. That made me sad, and I cried.
OLIVER WEST Well. Okay then.
[Sound of Oliver’s escape capsule building up pressure and launching.
I am a….young, vibrant female trying to make it through…the rays of life. Umm, the ups and the downs, trying to figure it all out, and trying to learn as much as I can before the time ends.
[Charlie on the MTA plays]
JESSICA WASHINGTON And I think I’m here…well, I think I’m still trying to figure out why I’m here. I think that the more I go along within the journey, I’ll figure it out and hopefully I’ll be able to achieve whatever that purpose is.

This is it, proof that Powell was framed, he had nothing to do with any of it. We’re letting that poor kid out.
THE BIG LOOP promo – Alexander Danner Hi, Alexander here to tell you about a fiction podcast that Jeff and I have been really enjoying lately. Now, Jeff and I both love a good dramatic monologue–and if you’ve made it this far into Greater Boston, I’m going to assume you do too. So you need to give a listen to The Big Loop by writer Paul Bae and engineer Steve Jin. You might already know Paul’s work from The Black Tapes, but trust us, The Big Loop is a whole other experience. From the tribulations of a professional grief surrogate to an unlucky assassin frustrated by the one that got away, these stories are deep character portraits of humans in crisis, all told with a captivating confessional intimacy. Season 2 has just started, but you can jump in anywhere—every episode is self contained. That’s The Big Loop—stories of finite beings in an infinite universe.
CHUCK OCTAGON — Jeff Van Dreason So without telling me your name, or what you do, who are you?
